An Alaska cruise is a scenery cruise. One can sit on one's balcony and watch one beautiful vista after another. The stops are interesting but as far as cities go they are not much. The coastline is gorgeous, but the wild life viewing sometimes spotty. The best luxury cruise for Alaska in 2007 and 2008 is Regent Seven Seas and Silversea. Holland America, and Princess are omnipresent there in the summer. |
