Oceania Marina & Riviera

Oceania Marina is Oceania Cruises newest cruise ship.  On April 24, 2012, she will be joined by Oceania Riviera.  Larger than her fleet mates, Regatta, Nautica, and Insignia, the Oceania Marina and Riviera feature additional dining and entertainment options.

Oceania Marina & Riviera Staterooms:

All staterooms and suites carry the amenities you expect from a cruise ship.

  • Inside staterooms: 174sq.ft.
  • Ocean view staterooms: 242 sq .ft.
  • Verandah staterooms: 216 sq .ft. (with verandah).
  • Concierge-level veranda staterooms: 282 sq .ft. (with verandah).  The concierge level staterooms include additional amenities:
    • Welcome bottle of champagne.
    • Complimentary soft-drinks and bottled water in your refrigerated mini-bar.
    • Services of a concierge.
    • Access to the private concierge lounge.
    • Laptop / wireless internet.
    • Toiletries by L’Occitane.
    • Upgraded linens.
    • Priority boarding with a dedicated desk.
    • Priority specialty restaurant reservations.
    • Shoeshine service and pressing service.
  • Penthouse suites: 420 sq .ft. (with verandah).  All the concierge amenities plus Butler service (see below), upgraded linens and bathroom amenities.  Access to the private Executive lounge.
  • Oceania Suite: 1,000 sq .ft.(with verandah) with full-size jacuzzi.
  • Vista Suite:  1,200 to 1,500 sq .ft.(with verandah)   With larger TV, Bvlgari Toiletries.
  • Owner’s Suite: 2,000 sq .ft.  Two jacuzzis, one on the private terrace. 

Butler services on the Oceania Rivera and Marina include: In-suite, by the course dining, shore side dinner/event coordination, Priority shore excursion reservations, packing/unpacking service (by request), evening canapés, and other assistance.

Oceania Riviera and Marina Dining:

Oceania Marina and Oceania Riviera have some of the best dining at sea.  Reservations for specialty restaurants can be pre-arranged.  The number of nights, and the dates that you can book are based on your stateroom/suite category.

  • Grand Dining Room: Continental cuisine inspired by the great European restaurants. The menus change daily.  Open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Canyon Ranch fare available as well.
  • Jacques: The only restaurants anywhere to carry the name of French Chef Jacques Pepin.  Re-constructed classics created by Chef Pepin (Oceania Cruises culinary director) in a clubby atmosphere.
  • Red Ginger: A gorgeous restaurant serving new interpretations on classic Asian dishes.
  • Toscana: The perfect wine with the perfect traditional family Tuscan recipes.
  • Polo Grill: The place to come for steak.
  • Waves: Classic grill located near the pool.  Great for a quick meal.
  • Terrace Cafe: Breakfast, Lunch, or dinner with wonderful views. Menu inspired by classic Mediterranean fare.  Pizzeria.  Buffet style.
  • La Reserve: The first wine tasting center at sea that offers tastings and seminars.  At night, a seven-course meal awaits, with each course paired with that perfect wine.  Dinners are $75p.p. + gratuity.  La Reserve will also be offering daily Wine and Tapas Lever’s gatherings.  Passengers will be able to choose from an assortment of tapas, and from 4 chosen wines, to be purchased at a discount and served with their diner at any of the restaurants.  Cost: $15p.p.
  • Privee:You, and 7 of your guests enjoy a seven-course meal designed by you and the executive chef.  Reservations required.  $1,000 for up to 8.
  • Room Service: Enjoy a large menu for you in-suite dining pleasure.  Suites with butler service can enjoy an entire meal course by course.

Oceania Marina & Riviera Entertainment :

There are multiple venues for entertainment:

  • Multiple Bars and Lounges
    • Martinis: Martini tastings and new takes on this ageless drink.
    • Grand Bar: Great for pre-dinner cocktails or for sampling rare wines.
    • Marina Lounge: THe place for nightly entertainment.  Comedians, magicians, headline acts, and jazz.
    • Horizons:   Relax in this lounge with sweeping views.  Afternoon tea service and nightly dancing. 
    • Baristas: A coffee bar located near the Oceania Riviera and Marina’s library.
    • Casino Bar
    • Waves Bar:Next to the Waves Grill.

  • Concerts: Including classical music by one of the best shipboard orchestras.
