The staterooms and suites on Holland America Cruises are broken up into the following room types. Room types vary among the many ships in the Holland America Cruise line fleet.
Standard Inside & Outside: Two lower beds that convert into a queen. 143 to 207sq.ft. Outside views may be partially or fully obstructed.
Verandah Staterooms: 2 lower beds convertible to 1 queen-size bed, whirlpool bath & shower (varies by ship/category, call ChicLuxuryCruises) plus mini-bar and sitting area. 284-398 sq. ft. with verandah.
Lanai: Decor reflecting nature and lanai doors leading directly to the Promenade deck and your teak deck chairs. 197sq.ft. (Maasdam, Rotterdam, Veendam, Statendam only).
Spa Staterooms: Available on many of Holland America cruise ships, spa ocean view staterooms and suites feature yoga mats, iPod docking stations, and a countertop water features and exclusive spa treatments.
Superior Suites: A larger sitting area, an upgraded bathroom, including dual sinks, a full-size whirlpool/shower and separate shower stall, extra large bath towels, mini-bar, flowers, DVD library 398sq.ft. with verandah. Certain ships only.
Deluxe /Penthouse Suites: Two lower beds convert to King. Sitting area, dressing room, 2-person sofa bed, mini-bar, and dressing room, plus:

Main Dining Room: Enjoy regional inspired five-course meals on Rosenthal China in a dining room filled with fine arts and antiques.
Pinnacle Grill: Specialty dining for the culinary cruiser. Sterling SLiver Beef, fresh seafood and an extensive wine list. Bvlgari china, Riedel stemware and Frette linens. Additional charges apply.
Lido: Cooked to order breakfast and lunch. Made to order with waiter for dinner.

“An Evening at Le Cirque“: Available on all Holland America Cruise ships. For one night, the Pinnacle Grill is transformed into a Le Cirque atmosphere.
Dietary restrictions: Please notify ChicLuxuryCruises of any dietary restrictions you may have. The staff on Holland America cruise ships do an excellent job of meeting requirements with advanced notification. This included gluten-free, kosher, diabetic, vegetarian, or any other restriction.

Culinary Arts Center: Food and Wine magazine presents this program which focuses on the ingredients and recipes of your ports of call. Whether you watch a cooking demonstration or are taking a hands-on approach, you’ll appreciate the celebrity guest chefs, market tours, and seminars.
Holland America Line’s digital workshop: Techsperts trained by Microsoft give plain English classes and demonstrations on a wide-range of computer related topics.
Greenhouse Spa & Salon: Full service spa. Appointments suggested.
Recreation/Fitness: There are a wide range of fitness activities available on Holland America cruise ships, but not all activities are available on all Holland America cruise ships.
