Crystal Symphony & Crystal Serenity

The Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity are currently the only two Crystal Cruise ships.

Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity Staterooms:

Any room on either the Crystal Symphony or Serenity will show you what luxury cruising and Crystal Cruises is about. Every stateroom on either the Crystal Serenity or Symphony :

  • Is built for your comfort.  Mohair lap blankets, Frette robes, kimonos and personal slippers, Egyptian cotton and Italian linens and bath towels, and a down comforter.
  • Includes the service that has helped make Crystal Cruise the World’s Best Cruise Line for 17 years in a row.  Each stateroom/suite on the Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony includes a pillow menu, 24-hour in-stateroom dining, twice-daily housekeeping, nightly turndown service, a refrigerator filled with bottled water and soft drinks, hair dryers, and a personal safe. Same-day laundry and dry cleaning is available by request.
  • Is connected.  Wireless in-room internet access, direct-dial ship-to-shore phones with voice mail, a flat-screen TV/ DVD/CD.  CNN, ESPN, CNBC, FOX News and TNT (reception permitting), regional programming (when available)
  • The Penthouses, Penthouse Suites, and the Crystal Penthouse also include :
    • Personal butler service.  Have your Butler unpack your bags, and pack them up again.  The Butlers aboard the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity are trained to answer your wants, and anticipate your needs.
    • Additional amenities such as hors d’oeuvres nightly, complimentary wine, wine, beer + choice of spirits & a welcome bottle of champagne.  Order in from specialty restaurants, or from the spa with in-suite massage (optional).  Enjoy Complimentary pressings and shoe shines.
    • Upgrades such as Riedel stemware, and a jacuzzi tub with separate shower.
  • Stateroom sizes vary between the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity:
    • The Crystal Penthouse aboard the Crystal Symphony is 982sq.ft. with verandah.  On the Crystal Serenity, it is 1,345sq.ft.
    • The Penthouse Suites aboard the Crystal Symphony are 491sq.ft. with verandah.  538sq.ft. with verandah on the Crystal Serenity.
    • The Penthouse on the Crystal Symphony is 367sq.ft. with verandah.  Crystal Serenity Penthouses are 403.sq.ft.
    • Verandah Staterooms: Categories A & B on the Crystal Symphony are 246sq.ft., and Categories AA-B on the Crystal Serenity are 269sq.ft.  Both with verandahs.
    • Outside Staterooms: Category C-E on the Crystal Symphony are 202 sq. ft.  Category E have a partially obstructed view.  Category C is the only outside stateroom on the Crystal Serenity.  226sq.ft.

    Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity Dining:

    The innovative and fresh dining aboard the Crystal Symphony and Serenity is a testament to Crystal Cruises dedication to the culinary cruiser.  With multiple specialty restaurants and a beautiful main dining room, the Crystal Symphony and Serenity cater to your tastes and timeline with industry leading excellence.

  • Crystal Dining Room: Crystal Cruises flagship restaurant.  Enjoy the wonderful culinary creations created from regional favorites.  Classic early or late seating is available, or choose open dining by reservation.  Crystal Cruises is the only luxury cruise line to offer this option. Open Breakfast Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Lido Café: Indoor / outdoor buffet Breakfast and Lunch.  No reservations required.
  • Trident Bar & Grill: Poolside grill.  Made to order grill.  Serves late breakfast and lunch.  Serves casual dinners on select evenings.  No reservations required.
  • Trident Ice Cream Bar:  An ice-cream lovers ice cream bar.  Crystal Symphony only.
  • Scoops:  The Crystal Serenity’s version of an ice cream bar.
  • Tastes: Crystal Serenity only.  Poolside kitchen.  Late breakfast, lunch, casual dinners.
  • Prego: Italian specialty restaurant.  Dinner only.  Reservations required.
  • Silk Road & The Sushi Bar: Specialty restaurant.  Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa menu is Japanese with Peruvian and European influences.  THe Chef also introduced his own fine china line during the inaugural season of the Crystal Serenity.  Dinner only.  Reservations required.
  • The Vintage Room: A culinary team works with expert sommeliers to bring you the ultimate wine and food cruise experience, creating a menu based on the attributes of fine vintages.  The result is a wine and culinary delight offered several times during your cruise.  $210p.p. all-inclusive.  With arrangements, you can use the VIntage room to hold your own private party. $2,000 for up to 12 on the Crystal Symphony.  $2,100 for up to 14 on the Crystal Serenity.  You become the wine master and consult with the executive chef on your menu.  Several Times a year, Crystal Cruises offers an "ultimate vintage room dinners" which feature the rarest of wines.
  • The Bistro: European-inspired cafe.  Breakfast and lunch.  No reservations required.
  • Kosher:  The kitchen staff on both the Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony have been trained in kosher food preparation.  There is a a wide range of kosher certified meals, including meats, seafood, and poultry are pre-packaged.  Kosher utensils, pots, and pans are used and washed separately. 

    Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity Entertainment:

    Crystal Cruises continually ranks #1 in most industry polls for entertainment.  In addition to the Entertainment below, Crystal Cruises offers an array of special theme cruises.

    • Dedicated play areas for young kids and teens.  Arts and Crafts, board and video games.  Great for some alone time on your family cruise vacation.

    Crystal Symphony & Serenity Activities

    • Creative Learning: Languages from Berlitz, music instruction by Yamaha, Tai Chi, wellness, wine tasting, art instruction, and the Computer University at Sea make your Crystal Symphony or Serenity Cruise a conduit for learning.
    • Technology Concierge. Crystal Cruises service offers advice and instruction on Apple, Palm, Blackberry and more.
    • Bridge: An ACBL instructor provides help with your Bridge game, as well as supervise games on both the Crystal Symphony and Serenity.
