Crystal River Cruises has announced they will launch their first river cruise ship in July 2016.  Originally planned 2017, Crystal moved the launch date forward based on the reception and feedback from guests.

Imagine European tours without the hassle.  No worries about the consistencies and standards as you move from one city to the next.  No packing or unpacking either.  Fine dining with locally inspired menus.

The luxury river yachts will have 70 suites.  Crystal will be the first river cruise provider to offer exceptional amenities and itinerary highlights including:

  • 250 square-foot guest suites with walk-in wardrobes, American king size beds and bathrooms with double vanities
  • Two 500 square-foot Penthouse Suites with added comforts and conveniences
  • Spacious public areas, including Palm Court with dance floor and glass domed roof and a well-appointed fitness center and spa

Crystal Cruises is has developed itineraries with a focus both on the cities and the routes. For the ports, the itineraries were developed to maximize the time in port for your exploration or to partake in excursions.and meaningful excursions. The routes were chosen to avoid congestion.

Along with Crystal Adventures shore excursions, Crystal has developed a new program called Active Exploration Adventures.  The program was developed to provide high-intensity activities. Guests have the freedom to create their own programs with equipment provided with the ship including bicycles and segaways.

The cruise ships will also have luxury yacht tenders for private yachting experiences.

Itineraries, fares and bookings for Crystal River Cruises will be available on December 1, 2015.
