It has been over ten years since some of the world’s most profitable CEO’s launched the idea of private outer space vacations.  The competitors are Amazon’s Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin, Elon Musk’s Space X and Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic.  More than 700 people have signed up to fly on the Virgin Galactic into outer space with for $250,000 per seat.  Blue Origin flights will be available with “picture windows,” kind of.  Space X has select February 2018 for it’s launch date.  None of the pretenders have said anything about inflight meals or the availability of 1st class seating.
